Cleaning Brushes

In my experience,it is most often that kids who have just eaten, cried, played in the sand, are the ones who approach us to have their faces painted at an event.

When we think of all the bacteria and germs that get on our brushes and paints, cleaning becomes crucial.

Most of the time we just run them through water and re-use them, but the best way to have clean and hygienic brushes is to do the following steps-

For this, you will need the following product-

BeautySoClean Brush Cleanser

STEP 1

Start by rinsing your brushes and sponges through flowing water.Make sure to squeeze your sponge and drain out all paint and stains. Move your finger through your brush’s bristles and remove any lumps of paint that might be stuck.

Soak your brushes in a small container and pour warm or hot water and leave it to soak for about 20 minutes.

STEP 3

Now pour a tinge of hand soap into the container just for fragrance. If you know that your hand soap contains strong fragrance that could interfere with sensitive skin, then don’t opt for that. This step is optional just to have fresh and nice smelling brushes.

STEP 4

Now drain your brushes onto a dry paper towel and spray your BeautySoClean Brush cleanser. The technique is to keep spraying your brushes and wiping with them with tissue simultaneously.

Finally, let your brushes dry out in the sun, rest them on a paper towel and cover them with another paper towel so that dust doesn’t settle on the bristles. And now you’re good to go :)
