Spirit gum is a traditional means of attaching wigs, beards, and other costume prosthetics to skin. Used in theater and opera as well as clowning, it's dries quickly and can be removed with simple soap and water. Water-based spirit gum is safer for skin than regular latex, and are also a favorite tool for blocking out performers' eyebrows.
