	MI MONTHLY EVENTS
	Clowns Around Redford monthly meeting in Dearborn, MI. Meeting is the first Wednesday of every month at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church in Dearborn Heights (26701 Joy Road between Inkster and Beech Daly). Visit the CAR webpage for more information.
	Circus Clown Alley #155 monthly meeting in Lansing, MI. Meeting is the third Thursday of every month at the Lansing Police Station (3400 W. Cedar at Holmes). Visit the CCA 155 webpage for more information.
	Michigan Twisters Group Balloon Jam Michigan Twisters Group gets together about every 6 to 8 weeks, meeting at a local southeastern Michigan restaurant to learn new sculptures, share ideas and network with each other. There is no charge for these gatherings, but please patronize the restaurant so that meetings can continue to be free of charge. There is usually have a 50/50 drawing, door prize drawings and other surprizes. These balloon jams are open to balloon twisters of all skill levels. 	Motor City Juggling Club Meeting The Motor City Juggling Club is a group of jugglers from the metropolitan Detroit area. The club is open to jugglers at all experience levels, from beginner to expert, as well as anyone interested in learning how to juggle. Meetings are at Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan each Wednesday starting at 7:00 PM. January 4-8, 2009	Face Painting and Body Art Association Convention, in Orlando, FL. Featuring four days of classes (plus pre-convention classes on January 4th) taught by award-winning instructors. Find classes for all skill levels in face painting, body painting, airbrush, henna, glitter tattoos, FX, disaster simulation "moulage," plus face painting jams and special group presentations throughout the weekend. March 16-20, 2009	World Clown Association Annual Convention in Denver, CO. Entertainment and lectures by Rone & Gigi plus other lecturers, shows and competitions! Visit the WCA website to register or for more information.
April 21-26, 2009	Clowns of America International Convention, hosted by Inky Clowns Alley #361 in Clarksville, IN. Come join in the Run for the Noses! May 16, 2009	Clowns Around Redford Presents: An afternoon with Russ Kennedy - a hands on Magic Workshop. Workshop will focus on Magic for Clowns. Doors open at 12:30, workshop is 1pm - 4:30pm. May 20-24, 2009	2009 "Tropical Adventure" Face and Body Art International Convention in Orlando, FL at the Double Tree Universal. August 1-7, 2009	National Clown Week - Clowns Around Redford will once again invade the community as they celebrate National Clown Week. Clowns Around Redford is a non-profit organization of metro-Detroit area clowns formed in 1986 and observing this special week since 1993. Visit the CAR webpage for a list of events.
Sept 9-13, 2009	South East Clown Association Convention at the Sheraton Orlando North in Maitland, FL. Hotel Reservations: (407) 660-9000 - remember to ask for SECA Rate! This years theme: "Treasure Chest of Smiles" Compete if you wish in the combined skit/makeup competitions (single, group, gospel) as well as paradeability and balloon sculptures. Oct 7-11, 2009	35th Midwest Clown Association Roundup at the Causeway Bay Hotel in Lansing, MI. Hosted by Clown World Alley.
