January 10-13, 2008		Face Painting and Body Art Association Convention, in Orlando, FL. Featuring four days of classes (plus pre-convention classes on January 9th) taught by award-winning instructors such as Raphaelle and Gary Fieldhouse, Melanie Seidsma, Mark Reid, The Wolfe Brothers and more. Classes for all skill levels in face painting, body painting, airbrush, henna, glitter tattoos, FX, disaster simulation "moulage," plus face painting jams and special group presentations throughout the weekend. Jan 31, 2008		Balloon Jam at Jimi's Restaurant in Royal Oak, MI, from 6 - 10 pm. Event will include a Buffet Dinner, Balloon Jam, door prizes, holiday balloon contest, 50/50 drawing and more. Please RSVP by visiting: Michigan Twisters Group web site.
April 7-24, 2008		Euro Design Experience Tour For the first time, Pioneer Balloon Company and Conwin, Inc. have teamed up to offer an amazing 8-City U.S. balloon education tour. April 13-17, 2008		World Clown Association Annual Convention in Lake Buena Vista, FL. With Featured Performer/Lecturer Karen Bell. April 15-20, 2008		Clowns of America International Convention, hosted by Virginia Alley #3 in Richmond, Virginia. Racing in to Richmond - Come clown around with us! May 21-25, 2008		2008 "Tropical Adventure" Face and Body Art International Convention, in Orlando, FL at the Double Tree Universal. Featuring the best line up of International instructors, most extended variety of classes for beginner, intermediate and advanced face painters and airbrush artists, largest market place and the most exciting celebration of the arts plus a special marketing track. June 11, 2008		Clowns Around Redford monthly meeting in Redford, MI. Meeting is the first Wednesday of every month at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church in Dearborn Heights (26701 Joy Road between Inkster and Beech Daly). Click for a map or visit the CAR webpage. Meeting is one week later this month to accomodate an event at the church.

August 1-7, 2008		National Clown Week - Clowns Around Redford will once again invade the community as they celebrate National Clown Week. Clowns Around Redford is a non-profit organization of metro-Detroit area clowns formed in 1986 and observing this special week since 1993. Visit the CAR webpage for a list of events.
Oct 1-5, 2008		35th Midwest Clown Association Roundup at the Olympia Resort & Conference Center in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin. Hosted by Cousin Otto's Clown Alley #22. As always, full registration includes: theme party, luncheon, awards banquet, dealers room, competition, hospitality and jam sessions.
