Quick & Easy Rudolf Face Painting Design

Reindeer final

Here is a quick and easy design that many will enjoy.  My favorite part of the design is using the red face paint with the pink glitter. It really looks like the nose is glowing! Especially when you see it in person.

Tools:

Medium #4 Round Brush
Large #6 Round Brush

paper towels or cloth
water container
(optional) Fine Mist Spray bottle with water
(
optional) Baby wipes

Colors used in this picture:

Black Face Paint
Red Face Paint
Diamond FX Face Paints – Metallic Cooper

Amerikan Body Art Cosmetic Glitter – Holographic Bubblegum Pink (Sheer)

Application:

1.First grab your willing victim, ( as you can see my son’s enthusiasm below), the large round brush, and the copper metallic paint.  Start by painting two large and long swoop shapes coming from the middle of the forehead, swooping outwards, and ending on a small point on either side of the nose.

2.Continue to add two additional swoops on each side of the antlers. Next, add red to the tip of the nose, and while the paint is still wet, poof on some of the sheer pink glitter.

3. For the littler ones, I may stop here as to avoid anything around the mouth, however the kids really seem to like having the black outline added, for the extra transformation effect,  and it only takes a second.  Starting around the nose, outline the sides and paint a line underneath the nose as well. Starting from the corner of the mouth, swoop up, around and point towards nose. Add three dots on each side for the whiskers.  And you are done! Now you have one happy reindeer with a glowing red nose to wish you a Merry Christmas!
