The Lucky Shamrock Balloon

So we just got you all set with your green attire for St. Paddy’s Day with our Wearin O’ the Green article, let’s get you twisted with a simple Irish Balloon!

All you will need is a green 260 balloon, you pick whatever shade you like.

Step 1. Inflate the balloon leaving about a 3″ tail and tie.

Step 2. Twist a bubble that is just about 4 fingers in length.

Step 3. Follow this with 2 ear twists that are about an inch and a half each.

Step 4. Force the air to the end of the balloon by squeezing the base of the balloon just above the ear twists.

Step 5. Wrap the tail of the balloon into the ear twist segment.

Step 5.

Step 6. You now have a shape that looks like one big loop.

Step 7. Divide this loop so that the top portion is just slightly larger than the bottom and twist the top portion into a smaller loop.

Step 8. Twist the lower portion into 2 separate loops.

Step 9. Adjust the three loops into the leaves of your shamrock, use the ear twits to help hold the shape.

Step 10. Shape the loops to give them a better leaf like appearance and you are done.
