Valentine Centerpiece

IMG_0038

Nothing says, “I love you” like a Valentine balloon.

Okay well chocolates, flowers or jewelry may be higher on the Valentine gift list but we are a clown supply site, so balloons it is.

This fun design is a bit different than a traditional balloon animal or flower; it is an actual centerpiece one could have sitting on the table or desktop.

Supplies:

1- 260 twisting balloon

1- 6″ heart balloon

Balloon pump if needed

Making the stand:

Step 1. Inflate the 260 leaving about a 4″ tail, soften then tie.

Step 2. Twist a bubble about 5″, about the size of the loop twist on a balloon sword.

Step 3. Make a loop twist using the knot as the connection point.

Step 4. Make two more loop twists of the same size and lock twist the three together. Adjust them so they are like a flat flower.

Step 5. Above the 3 bubbles make a bubble about 6″.

Step 8. Make 2 more loop twits the same size and lock them together as you did the 3 larger loop twists.

You will have a bubble left at the end.

Step 9.  Pinch the last bubble right where it leaves the 3-loop segment, poke a hole in the tail of balloon and release the air. Your bubble is gone.

Step 10. Wrap this extra tail through the 3 loop twists, this will hide the tail and prevent balloon from deflating.

The stand is complete.

The topper:

~Inflate the heart balloon fully and we will connect it to the stand.

~Simply wrap the nozzle of the heart through the 3 loop twits and it will secure the heart balloon in place.
